The Dy-8 Coding Machine uses hot foil ribbon and letter blocks which are generally made of copper or brass. The metal letters are placed inside a special block designed to host these letters. The machine then needs to be plugged into electricity and gets heated up. Once heated up the metal blocks need to be pulled down on the hot foil ribbon which embosses the letters onto the substrate.

2. The Handheld Inkjet Printer

The CIJ or also called the Continues Inkjet Printer is a high-end Date and Batch coding machine generally used in large scale industries.


The Continues Inkjet Printer can run only when coupled to a moving production or a dedicated conveyor line. It is generally coupled with automated production lines in large scale factories. Most CIJ printers have the capability to print 5 lines and it can print Alphabetical Letters, Numbers, Traceable codes, and logos/images. Although trackable coed printed using the CIJ might not be as readable as when printed using a thermal inkjet printer
