Where to Buy Packaging Machines in Sri Lanka
Certain products are easy to come and are readily available to buy for anyone. But then there are certainly other products that people have absolutely no clue on where to get from.
The other day I was speaking to an entrepreneur from Kandy, he had the idea of starting up a small scale spice business. The capital for the business was ready, thanks to his decade of employment in the United Arab Emirates. This kind gentleman who did not want to be named had returned to Sri Lanka with a saving of Rs 1 million and wanted to venture into the spice business.
It has been 6 long months since he had first decided to start the business but to this day no progress had been made. The reason why he had not started the business seemed very basic and utterly nonsensical at first but later I had no chance but to agree with him.
His only obstacle was that he was unable to look for a suitable supplier of machinery. For any startup getting the right machinery to sustain the business for the foreseeable future is vital. Many startups run on limited budgets and have no reserved funds to sustain any unfortunate breakdowns in the vital machinery.
For a basic startup manufacturer, the below-mentioned goods are vital
- Filling Machines (includes liquid filling machines, granule packing machines, etc..)
- Coding Machines (Expiry date, Manufacture date, and batch code printing machines)
- Packing Machines
Unfortunately for many Sri Lankan small-scale industries, there are very few reliable suppliers in the market especially for people living out of the greater Colombo region.
Try out www.machinerylanka.com
www.machinerylanka.com is a recently launched website by E Lanka World International. This website aims at unifying all suppliers of many different types of machinery in Sri Lanka and provides a single platform for people looking for various different machinery to choose from and pick from.
At the time of writing this blog, this website was still under construction but by the time you read this we hope the website is full-on and running!
thanks
